Monday 29 July

Last month the club celebrated 15 years of creating and caring for our community. This month it was back to business as usual. Members bought in sewing machines and overlockers to be tagged and tested. The annual event ensures machines are compliant and ready for another year of sewing. A big thank you to Norm's Tag and Test at Maroochydore.

THE SALES TABLE

It was Christmas in July at the sales table. A timely reminder that Christmas is quickly approaching and to start thinking about purchasing gifts for loved ones. The table was also filled with embroidered birthday cards, plate warmers, wallets of several sizes with two or three pockets. Perfect for credit cards, glasses and cash. There were even smaller fabric pockets perfect for smaller gifts.

Also on sale this month were some very attractive wallets for iPad, phones and chargers.

Matching iPad and charger bags.

THE FREEBIE TABLE

It's amazing what you can find!

This month there where cd's (perfect for card holders), bric-a-brac, tubs of wool and packets of material cut up and ready to be made into quilts.
