Annual General Meeting - Monday 25th March
If this year’s AGM had a theme,
it would be one of gratitude. Our President, Sharon began the
meeting welcoming everyone and praising the valuable work carried out by our 84
members in what was a very busy year.
Each year, Sunshine Linus
strives to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. This year we responded
to an increasingly diverse range of requests and produced high quality items to
meet the increased demand from clients. Judy B advised that in 2023/24,
Sunshine Linus distributed over 10,000 items to communities on the Sunshine
Coast and beyond.

Thank you also to everyone who quietly get on
and make Sunshine Linus the dynamic and valuable organisation it is today.

FROM THE TABLES
SALES TABLE
This month the table abounded
with pillowcases, silk coat hangers, potholders, small tote and laundry bags,
scalloped place mats and microwave bowl holders. Fresh produce included onion
jam, plants, limes, and plenty of pumpkin bought in by Leonie.
The Quilters Choice sewing
machine and accessories is still available. The machine has never been used and
all proceeds from the sale will go to Sunshine Linus. Thank you again to Elaine
for looking after the sales table.
