Blocks can be made in various sizes. |

An essential tool is a large square ruler. |
|
The ruler is angled onto the patch to create the new block. |
|
The angle of the ruler can be changed to create an alternate block. |
|
It creates this effect that makes the block look very complicated. |
|
Even the cut-off corners can be used to create interesting borders or added into the quilt itself as an extra row. |

Members need to bring their sewing machines or overlockers along with the cords and foot pedals, all named.
