Another relaxing Activity Day was held on Monday, 15 August with 13 ladies attending. The task for the day was to construct Santa Sacks out of white/cream fabric and add a Christmas themed tie. The completed sacks will be decorated by school children and used to wrap presents by Care Outreach Coolum who run Christmas in the Bush supporting rural and remote families.

A well run production line was set up with members cutting or ripping the sacks (in two sizes 20" x 30" or 30" x 30" plus SA), members machine sewing or overlocking the sacks and attaching the ties, while others were ironing the completed sacks. 258 ties had been prepared before the day by Pam.
