As the bags of donated fabric arrived the sorters got to work.  It was opportune that Edith had brought in her cutting machine to demonstrate how quickly and accurately squares, triangles and other shapes could be cut.  All ready for making the next round of quilts.

Here are some of the quilts from today's Show and Tell.  My apologize if your quilt photo didn't make it to the blog but a few photos were blurry... however the first photo is lovely and bright.  If you had seen the real thing you would have seen Sandra's first attempt at free motion quilting.

Not just quilts were on display.  After the Sunshine Linus Open Day Kaye N was sent a pattern for 'ugly socks' which she says are very quick to knit.

Ablecare are creating a 3m x 1m sensory wall made of carpet. The wall will have a variety of velcro attachments eg. sensory shapes, bells, games and shapes for making pictures. The first items will be this game of noughts and crosses, sensory pizza pieces and bells. The Ablecare Day Services Centre will now be a more entertaining place for their clients.
